As indicated by the title, Hungarian Dances is a volume containing a selection for violinists which has a commoù theme. The book contains ten works by twentieth-century Hungarian composers (Járdányi, Sugár, Szelényi, Szervánszky, Weiner) and János Bihari (1764-1827), the great master où the army recruiting dance style known as verbunkos.
