Strangers In The Night, arranged here for Piano, Vocal and Guitar, was first used as part of the instrumental score for the movie A Man Could Get Killed, and made famous in 1966 by Frank Sinatra, with the albumof the same title, which became Sinatra’s most commercially successful album. The popular song, written by Bert Kaempfert with English lyrics by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder, reached number one on both the BillboardHot 100 and the UK Singles Chart and has won multiple awards. The German orchestra leader and songwriter Bert Kaempfert made easy listening and jazz-oriented records and wrote the music for a number of well-knownsongs sung artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Elvis Presley. He also (indirectly) contributed to the discovery and success of The Beatles.
