Daniel Moult a étudié à Oxford et est devenu Fellow du Collège royal des organistes, il a ensuite poursuivi ses études à Amsterdam avec Jacques van Oortmerssen. De 1995 à 2002, il fut organiste à la cathédrale de Coventry. Il enseigne au Royal College of Département Musique junior, le Conservatoire de Birmingham et le RCO St Organ école Giles, à Londres.
