This piece was commissioned by Langhus Skolekorps junior band for their autumnal concert in 2022, where all ensembles of the band played jazz in one form. The piece is a sort of blues with a big focus on the bass line. This riff is very poignant during the whole item. The piece has a solo section which can be made open to accommodate more soloists, also with improvisational solos. The piece suits bands wanting to play a jazzy tune available for most players, and bands wanting to showcase one or more soloists.
