Musique pour orchestres et ensembles
Description :
Many of the timeless pop songs from the 1960s are very playable for instrumental groups, and here comes another arrangement from this great music period, arranged for flexible instrumentation in the popular series SHOWBLOW. “Dream Lover” was written by singer-songwriter and actor Bobby Darin. Darin´s real name was Walden Robert Cassotto. When he had his debut as a singer in 1956, he changed his name to Bobby Darin, from a neon sign on the Chinese restaurant “Mandarin”, where the first three letters were burned out. “Dream Lover” became a multi-million seller, originally recorded and released in 1959 with Neil Sedaka on piano in addition to Darin on vocal. Some of the many cover versions of the song: Ricky Nelson (1979), Tanya Tucker with Glen Campbell (1980), Manhattan Transfer with James Taylor (1995), Cliff Richard (2012). This flexible designed arrangement is accessible for almost any wind ensemble and is certain to keep your audience entertained!
