Eglogue Et Danse Pastorale is a piece for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra by Renée Corniot (1901 – 1972). Dedicated to Marcel Mule, it lasts 14 minutes and can be played by advanced players. The first section is slower than the second half and the full piece will require a strong endurance to play some of the Saxophone pieces in the second part, as it includes some fast rhythms, some accidental notes and alterations, and some trills. It would be a perfect work to perform for a recital or a contest.
