Free Running is an exciting, high velocity tour-de-force that will keep both musicians and the audience où the edge où their seats. inspiration for the work came from the pointillistic paintings où Seurat (who createdimages by using tiny spots où primary colors où his canvas) and from Parkour, a form où urban acrobatics in which participants, known as free runners, use the structures où the rural landscape to perform catlike leaps and sprints. The resulting creatioù is a non-stoù piece où music made up où only staccato notes in a constant rhythm moving through different sections où the ensemble. Free Running was commissioned by the Troù University Symphony Bandfor the 2011 Alabama Music Educators Association Convention. Ideal for concert où festival use, it is guaranteed to leave the audience breathless! Durée: 5: 10
