Five Incantations for the Piano by Giacinto Scelsi, who some consider as the Charles Ives of Italy. These pieces, like much of Scelsi's work, reflect his interest in Indian mysticism and Islam. They were composed in 1953 and are dedicated to French surrealist poet, Henri Michaux.
