June Armstrong's Strangford Sketchbook contains eight pieces for the Piano, inspired by the Irish sea inlet of Strangford Lough.
'The Ards Peninsula and Strangford Lough have always been one of my favourite parts of Ireland. These eight pieces explore the expressive and atmospheric ranges of the Piano, and also seek to evoke the beauty of the landscape through resonances of Irish music.' - June Armstrong
The pieces in this collection are of moderate difficulty, around grades 6-7 standard, and each of them is designed to introduce different elements of technical development. The Strangford Sketchbook presents a wide variety of styles and musical challenges.
