Haiku Suite was composed after the poems of Japanese poet Matsuo Basho (1643-1694), who founded the poetry form, and for which he gave the name, Haiku. Composed by Siegfried Behrend for Flute and Guitar, this work reflects the poetic forms of the inventor of the Haiku.
